NDO is all about to contribute to the development of self-sustaining educated and healthy and prosperous communities in Southern Sudan

Our mission is to efficiently facilitate the development of the three primary pillars of a prosperous community: education, health, and economic opportunities in South Sudan.

NDO works to build “traditional” education, schools, health awareness, and proper sanitation/hygiene, health/healthcare facilities as well build economic sustainable through entrepreneurship/microfinance programs and start-up agricultural farming  for food production, vegetable  production and others for consumptions, etc in South Sudan with beginning in Malakal and Nasir in southeastern Sudan.

NDO works toward the developments of self-sustaining educated and healthy and prosperous communities in South Sudan. It absolutely works and develops to bring new energy and provide resources/opportunities and also partnering with NGOs, communities (leaders, peer educators, individuals, youth and women groups, etc) towards empowering/inspiring, creating strong education or diverse education systems where the vulnerable children/adults or communities in South Sudan access to education, proper health/sanitation/hygiene, and economic/livelihood sustainable.

Our goals are general, however, the ultimate goals of the NDO are to not only increase the numbers of the school facilities, health awareness, and proper sanitation/hygiene, health facilities but also to build vital economic sustainable so that the vulnerable communities and populations could survive toward building sustainable communities for the future. Our plans are to inaccessible school age children and young adults/communities/populations access to schoolings, jobs, and foodstuffs or food security and nutrition security, proper sanitation/hygiene leading to the community developments.

With this attitude, we are driven to the fact that the next generation of young children and adults have to be educated so that they could be literate or have ability to read, write, learn, and understand of the problems that their communities are facing then be able to feed themselves, live healthy toward lead self-reliant, live and lead healthy lives and contribute to a peaceful , vibrant upon take charge and responsibility of their communities by solving the nation/society’s problems positive community developments.

 For over two (2) years, the NDO has been supporting and providing the education needs/resources, such as school supplies/materials for school age children and the teachers ‘kits for elementary/primary schools (e.g., notebooks, pens/pencils, erasers, markers, dictionaries and teacher kits, etc) in malakal and Nasir in southeastern Sudan and has done other activities in Malakal and Nasir in the Upper Nile State/Region in 2011 and 2012 (e.g., provided and delivered school supplies to St. Moses Kuach, Hai salaam, Genda primary schools, etc).  Also the organization has done the establishment on the ground in South Sudan included established the workforce team of volunteers in Malakal, Nasir, and Juba  as well networking with local community leaders, peer educations and youth groups  and INGOs.


The organization (NDO( core competencies are its capacity leadership team, partnering institutions, individuals, community involvement and also community based groups, mobilizations, etc.

NDO based in Denver, Colorado, USA and works or operates in southeastern Sudan specifically Malakal and Nasir and plans to expand its services/opportunities to other areas/regions in the future.

Our purpose is to help rebuild lives of refugees, returnees and the current volunerable communities/populations toward building sustainable communities.

Current Activities/Projects:

We are now raising money  for the following projects 1) build two (2) kindergarten/selementary/primary schools in Malakal and Nasir communities
2) start up entrepeneurship/microfinance programs, 3) build NDO projects/operation facilities for office spaces, housing and community resource centers, 4) start up agricultural farming for food and nutritional security and energy conservation,
